I love all Lynn Kurland books. As soon as I buy the book and start to read it she's captured my attention and I find it very hard to put it aside. It's my kind of book but I would recommend to anyone. All her books are like that.

I started with Stardust of Yesterday and was hooked. I think I have all her books now and find it hard to wait until he next one comes out.

Lynn Kurland writes some really good hysterical (not really historical) fantasy (with time travel and ghosts) fiction. Some of her descriptions are of violent actions, nothing graphic, nothing gory, mostly punches and the like. There is some PG type of sensual not necessarily sexual contacts. All in all, great light, romantic, escapist, fiction.
These are several short stories about De Piaget and Macleod family members, the romance are sweet and interesting but I wish they are longer and much more developed because all those characters are just as charming as the others before them. I usually don't like to read series books but Lynn Kirkland's each book can stand on it's own yet it just draw you in one after another because you started caring about the other members of the family! Before I know it that I collect all of the books in the series!
This reader's interest was grabbed right from the start with the matchmaking antics of Sir Sweetums, the 'friendly' bickering of the ghostly matchmakers and of course I love all things MacLeod! This is my first introduction to this author and immediately purchased four full length novels which I look forward to reading! Well done Ms. Kurland😊😊😊😊😊+
I have had this book in paperback for year. Probably since it first came out. It is new to my kindle and I was happy when I found it again. I have enjoyed all four stories equally and I have enjoyed all the other books that I have read from Lynn Kurland. She is worth the read.
I love Lynn's books , especially the time travel books. I've Scottish ancestry so this is fun. I have one major complaint. Miles de Piaget deserved his own book. Not only that but this was the least satisfying of the 4 stories. I met Miles through " When I Fall In Love" His brother Nicholas's story . this is one of my favorite stories and Miles and his brothers - especially Robin- are hilarious and often sweet. . Miles was very aware of time travel through this story but had not yet found his love. Ironically , he hoped she might be from the future. This novella doesn't do him justice. Abigail wasn't right and it was implausible. The rest of the book is enjoyable . I was happy to see Ian have his own story and this one really clicked . He also could have deserved his own novel but this novella works as there is more in depth character development- and Ian's funny. It's also fun to meet up with Jamie and Elizabeth again! I'd recommend the book.
I love Lynn Kurland’s books. I was a little disappointed in two of the stories in this book. The “Icing on the Cake” story has nothing to do with Medieval time and just didn’t seem to click with her McLeod or De Piaget series other than the last name of McLeod. “The Gift of Christmas Past” is Miles De Piaget’s story. It’s good but he must have had amnesia because he’s completely forgotten about people from the future traveling back. He has a sister-in-law and brother-in-law who are from the future. I had a hard time getting past that. “The Groom Wore Tulle” and ”The Three Wise Ghosts” are both 5 star stories!
